1. Eligibility:

1.1 Participants must be at least 18 years or older to join this group therapy.

1.2 Participants must register online and complete a HIPAA compliant registration form before participation in each group session date.

1.3 Individuals must agree to the group's confidentiality and respectful behavior guidelines.
2. Confidentiality:
-
2.1 What is shared in the group stays in the group. All participants must respect the privacy and confidentiality of others.

2.2 You agree not to discuss any specific information or experiences shared by other members outside the group setting, except with the explicit permission of the individual(s) involved. Breach of confidentiality may result in immediate removal from the Group

2.3 The group facilitator will maintain confidentiality, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to the participant or others, as required by law.

2.4 The facilitator and Ocean Psychology Group cannot ensure other group participants will adhere to confidentiality of others.
3. Respectful Behavior:

3.1 All participants are expected to treat each other with respect and kindness, even when disagreements arise.

3.2 Please listen actively and avoid interrupting when others are speaking. Participants are encouraged to keep an open mind and practice empathetic skills.

3.3 Derogatory language, personal attacks, or any form of harassment will not be tolerated.

3.4 Allow space for everyone to contribute. Avoid dominating conversations or dismissing others' experiences.
4. Participation:

4.1 While participation is encouraged, it is not mandatory. You are free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

4.2 While regular attendance is encouraged, the group will remain open to new participants each session. Max 25 participants per group session.
5. Group Dynamics:

5.1 The group is a collective space; individual needs must be balanced with the needs of the group.

5.2 The facilitator may guide discussions to ensure that all voices are heard and that the group remains on track.

5.3 Feedback is encouraged, but it should be constructive and given with the intent to support others.
6. Boundaries:

6.1 Respect the physical and emotional boundaries of others. Avoid offering unsolicited advice or physical contact.
7. Safety:

7.1 If you are experiencing a crisis or feel unsafe, please notify the facilitator or on-hand Clinical Psychologist immediately.

7.2 Discussions about self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or violence should be handled with care and may require one-on-one follow-up with the facilitator.
8. Media and Recording:

8.1 To protect the privacy of all participants, recording of any kind (audio, video, or photographic) is strictly prohibited during group sessions.

8.2 The facilitator and hosting organization will not record or take pictures during sessions unless explicit consent is obtained from all participants for a specific purpose.

8.3 Any media produced for promotional or educational purposes will not include identifiable information about group participants without their express written consent.
9. Liability:

9.1 The group therapy sessions are meant to provide emotional support and facilitate personal growth. They are not a substitute for individual therapy or professional medical advice.

9.2 By participating in this group, you acknowledge that the facilitator and Ocean Psychology Group are not liable for any emotional distress or harm that may arise during or after group sessions.

9.3 Ocean Psychology Group its facilitators, employees, or representatives will not be held liable for any actions, decisions, or outcomes as a result of participation in the Group.
10. Termination:

10.1 Participants may choose to leave the group at any time but are encouraged to discuss their decision with the facilitator beforehand.

10.2 The facilitator / Ocean Psychology Group reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the group if they disrupt the group process, including but not limited to, breach of these terms and conditions, disruptive behavior, or violation of confidentiality.
11. Amendments:

11.1 Ocean Psychology Group reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of participants to regularly review and stay informed about any updates.
