Fariha Malik

Pre-Licensed Counselor

I’m Fariha Malik, a pre-licensed mental health counselor who works with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity development, and relational concerns. I aim to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences at their own pace, without judgment or pressure.

I developed a strong foundation in counseling theory and clinical practice through my graduate training at Messiah University. My therapeutic approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian theory, and client-centered principles, while also incorporating a family systems lens that recognizes how relationships, family roles, culture, and values shape emotional well-being.

I work thoughtfully with clients experiencing stress, self-doubt, perfectionism, and challenges related to changing expectations at school, work, or within relationships. When relevant, I also value incorporating clients’ cultural backgrounds and spirituality into therapy in ways that feel respectful, supportive, and aligned with their goals.

My goal is to support clients in building insight, strengthening coping skills, and developing greater balance, confidence, and self-compassion as they navigate life’s challenges.
