Intake / Initial Session
Intake sessions are approximately 60 minutes in length and are focused on gathering history, developing a treatment plan, and helping the client develop a more complete understanding of the process of therapy.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length and consist of talk therapy between the client and the counselor.
Throughout treatment a variety of treatment approaches may be implemented such as:

Psychological Testing
Psychological tests are written, visual, or verbal evaluations administered to assess the cognitive and emotional functioning of children and adults. Psychological tests are used to assess a variety of mental abilities and attributes, including achievement and ability, personality, and neurological functioning.

The purpose of the free 15-minute phone consultation is to answer any questions/concerns you may have about therapy. In addition, this allows you an opportunity to interact with your clinician and assess whether you feel they would be a good fit for you as your psychologist.
